Pet portrait: questions and answers
Which dog breeds are available as a motif?
Labrador Retriever, French Bulldog, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Chihuahua, Dachshund, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Jack Russell Terrier and Cocker Spaniel – plus two general dog heads. For any other breed, simply use your own photo.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is processed only in your browser and never leaves your device. It is not stored anywhere.
Which photo works best?
A well-lit photo taken from the front with a calm background. “Lighten the edge” and “Details” let you fine-tune the engraving.
What is the difference between silhouette cut, sketch and greyscale?
Silhouette cut and sketch are engraved as areas and work with any laser. Greyscale is an embedded image that LightBurn or xTool Creative Space engrave as an image – it looks the most like a photo.
Does it work with my laser?
Yes. The generator exports SVG files in real millimetres that you can import into xTool Creative Space, xTool Studio, LightBurn and other common laser software. Cut and engrave are on separate layers.
